This application offers users a high-quality view of Earth's surface. It consists of two main features: an interactive globe allowing for rotation and global exploration, and a detailed 3D map displaying the topography of the planet.

Users can access 110 different regions on the interactive globe, presenting the individual tiles in a coherent manner with automatic loading. The app starts with low-resolution textures for the globe, and all additional downloads are fetched from the server automatically. Approximately 33 GB of data is available, stored in the device cache for offline use and can be deleted from the main menu if needed. Moreover, the app integrates events recorded by GDACS such as hurricanes and earthquakes onto the globe.

The 3D topography map is constructed using elevation data captured by NASA's Terra probe between 2000 and 2013, resulting in ASTER3-DEM which covers 83° of both the northern and southern hemispheres. In version 0.10.0, approximately 7.5 million place names from geonames.org have been added to the map, including towns, mountains, lakes, deserts, and other geographical features.

For a quick start, users can utilize the tutorial within the app or refer to the manual to explore all available functions. Note that as the app is still in development, certain features may undergo changes.
